Jumai Shaka is a Programme Officer at BWHR, where she supports the coordination and delivery of programmes and community initiatives.
Her role involves managing programme communications, sending updates, collating information and helping the team stay organised so activities run smoothly.
She has a background in Mass Communication and is passionate about clear communication, collaboration and creating meaningful experiences for people.
Alongside her role at BWHR, Jumai also works as an event planner and baker, bringing creativity, attention to detail and strong planning skills into both her professional and personal work.

Gospel Omotosho is a growth strategist and fintech leader with over five years of experience driving user acquisition, revenue growth, and market expansion across Africa, Europe, and North America.
She began her career at Softcom Limited, where she contributed to the growth of products such as Eyowo, Kwiksell, Usepass, and Useforms, helping increase sales revenue by 50% and improve customer retention by 30%. She also led brand positioning and go-to-market initiatives for key product launches.
Known for her practical and experience-driven approach to growth, Gospel regularly shares insights on growth marketing, cross-border expansion, community building, and leadership. Her thought leadership focuses on translating complex growth challenges into actionable strategies for businesses and leaders.
She has spoken at industry events, including The Connectors Code UK Professional Roundtable, and was recognized as Tech Woman of the Year at the Nigerian Tech and Innovation Awards 2025. She was also featured by TechCabal for her impact on growth strategy within Africa’s technology ecosystem.

Simon has 22 years of HR recruitment expertise. He was in HR recruitment for firms in Australia & London before becoming one of the founding members of the Oakleaf team at the beginning of 2006.
During his tenure at Oakleaf Simon has recruited HR professionals across all industry sectors as well as being integral in launching and developing all aspects of Oakleaf’s revenue streams.
In 2022 Simon launched Oakleaf in the US and now spends much of his time in New York where he delivers on senior mandates for the HR community as well as building Oakleaf’s brand in the US market.
