Vanessa is an award-winning ESG (Environmental, social & governance) professional, entrepreneur, presenter and writer based in London.

She is the Founder & CEO of award-winning global organisation, Girls Talk London, that partners with businesses to build the future workforce through connecting them with women in 37 countries through bespoke programmes, events and digital content. Their aim is to democratise access to opportunities and jobs in male dominated sectors and to empower women to develop the skills and confidence to progress in their careers.

Through this organisation, Vanessa has worked with companies such as Meta, HSBC UK, LinkedIn, Goldman Sachs, Snap Inc, Virgin Media O2, Zalando, BT, Ericsson, PwC, Vodafone + many more to connect them with diverse talent across all levels within their businesses.

Vanessa is a Presenter and Business Podcast with her podcast, The After Work Drinks Club debuting at Number 4 on the Apple Business Charts and her online talk show, Girls Talk, being viewed by nearly 1 million people worldwide interviewing influential global leaders such as Tsitsi Masiyiwa, DJ Cuppy & Munroe Bergdorf.

Vanessa has worked in diversity and inclusion for over 15 years and has worked with and for over 50 businesses that include Standard Chartered Bank, HFW, The Bank of England, UK Parliament, State Street, Salesforce, Allen and Overy, Clifford Chance, Deutsche Bank, UBS, RBS Legal, Rabobank and Reed Smith.

Her expertise sits in creating and executing global diversity, inclusion and sustainability strategies and programmes, building capability & influence in organisations and partnering with & advising C-suite executives, senior leadership and HR colleagues

She is a sought-after speaker on ESG, business and women’s issues and her speaking engagements have taken her across the globe at institutions such as The Southbank Centre, Glitz Africa She Summit, UN Women UK, Cosmopolitan Self-Made Summit, Investec, Royal Bank of Canada, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Google UK, City Hall, Stylist Magazine, Institute of Directors and Women in Research UK.

The 9th March 2015 issue of Look Magazine featured Vanessa as one of the most inspiring women in the UK and in June 2015 She was named as one of 67 Changemakers in the UK at The Southbank Centre as part of their annual Festival of Love.

Vanessa has been awarded for her contributions to diversity and inclusion by the 2018 European diversity awards, 2011 London Peace Awards and 2010 Spirit of London awards.

operational direction. She is a programme director on a masters degree in Educational Leadership Diana is also school inspector with developed
expertise in scrutinizing school wide systems.

Michelle Raymond

Emerging Leadership Coach and Trainer

Michelle is an Emerging Leadership Coach and Trainer, Certified Master NLP Practitioner, and award-winning International TEDx Speaker on a mission to make the inVisible Visible!

Michelle is the CEO of an Executive Coaching and Training Consultancy, The People’s Partner, specializing in building future fit and diverse pipeline with organizations who are keen to develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence of emerging leaders. 

Her team helps organizations reduce organizational risks by ensuring that the leadership pipeline is fit for purpose with executives and potential leaders that are culturally and emotionally intelligent, visible, confident,  and critical thinkers that are ready to advance to the next steps in becoming part of the company’s senior leadership team. 

Currently running UCL’s Emerging Leadership Programme and Executive Coach to UCL’s senior female leaders, Michelle’s two decades of HR management have spearheaded her diverse skills in management, leadership development, leadership agility and resilience, presence and personal branding.

A Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), Marshah has contributed to HR publications including HR Magazine where she shared her top tips on career success.  Marshah has a Postgraduate Diploma in HR Management and graduated with a Law & Politics degree from Queen Mary & Westfield College, University of London.
